YouTubeEDU focuses on educational videos. Ranging from elementary school aged to University, YouTubeEDU has a wide range of resources. The colleges that participate have tours of their schools, and even full lectures and courses oninle—all for free. This certainly does not replace a degree, but it is convenient to be able to learn about a certain topic without actually taking a class. This could also give a great idea to a future college student about what certain colleges have to offer in terms of class size and professors.At the elementary level, YouTubeEDU has videos in all subject areas, from math, science, history, reading, etc.The link below shows how educational counting songs can be used by teachers for their younger students. It is easy to search throughout the page, and because many people are already familiar with YouTube, using YouTubeEDU has little to no learning curve.This resource is definitely a great way for teachers to find worthwhile and educational videos oninle. As others have mentioned, it also provides people from all across the world to see translated versions of the lectures and materials they may otherwise not have access to.
