You may feel drowsy or more tired when taking these drugs together. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how these drugs affect you. Discuss any troublesome side effects, like confusion, difficulty staying alert, dizziness, or falls with your health care provider. Severity: HighClassGeneric Trazodone and DuloxetineIn general, do not take Trazodone and Duloxetine (Cymbaltaae) together. Trazodone and Duloxetine may represent duplicate therapies for mood problems like depression in some patients and are not commonly prescribed together. If these drugs are used together, do so with caution. Side effects from Duloxetine may potentially get worse if you take Trazodone. Taking these drugs together could result in side effects such as chest pain, chest tightness or pressure, confusion, dizziness, drowsiness, excessive dry mouth, excessive nausea/vomiting, fever, loss of coordination, muscle twitching or weakness, sweating, tremor, and/or palpitations. Report these or other unusual effects immediately if they occur.
