For #3, I don’t worry about it. I trust that my history of hat tips and linking to where I find stuff demonstrates that I always point to my source. If a friend wrote about it, I abstain from reading the friend’s post until I write mine. I also usually include an “other thoughts at…” sentence. Saves the e-mail.I love #9. When I’ve interviewed others, I want to know how they think since I can see on a resume what they’ve done. Verify the resume, of course, but that should be of little consequence beyond verification.
