Darius,We both know the Lakers don’t often try and take advantage of advantageous match ups in the regular season. That’s a Phil Jackson coaching philosophy. He also doesn’t go at key players when they are in foul trouble. You might see Artest in the post against Kidd, but you won’t see it often enough to make the Mavs pay for that defensive switch. But I agree that is the great thing abut having Artest instead of a Trevor Ariza, teams can’t use their bigger SF to body up on Kobe. Especially if their SF is their best defender… Like tonight.
