271re “Customer Lock-In / Switching Costs” – I’ve thought about this in the context of my own use of facebook – which has declined dramatically over the past year. Thing is – to use other social networks more, there is no requirement to leave facebook – usage can easily drop off to the point where it is an alternative to email (get a notification, read, respond, done).Facebook seems to be teaching the masses how to use social networks in the same way AOL taught the masses how to use the internet.Your posts are always awesome Bill – thanks!11d
