Then, its only a short drive to Canada.As for income taxes, if you aren’t a Maine “resident” you don’t pay Maine income taxes. The Nompound condo in Florida will do nicely for that.As for canadian living and citizenship, it is (for now at least) a very nice tax dodge. I expect that it will be better publicized over time, but folks in my business don’t, and I won’t here—it’s the whale that surfaces that gets harpooned.But I will be filling out the application this weekend for permanent resident status in Canada.
